Have a GREAT Summer!

Have a GREAT Summer!

Litha: June 21st (approximately)
This festival is celebrated on or about June 21st on the longest night of the year. This is the sixth Sabbat of the year and celebrates the Summer Solstice when the Sun (the God) is symbolically at its peak time of power and the Earth will soon be ripe for harvest. The Goddess is pregnant with the God who is to be reborn at Yule. It is an excellent night for Magick rituals. Some Wicca traditions incorrectly give the name ‘Beltane’ to this holiday, even though ‘Beltane’ is a Gaelic word for May.
