How to Use a 7-Day Candle

How to Use a 7-Day Candle

You can make a 7-Day Candle if you have a mold or you can use a store-bought taper or pillar candle (the latter being the best choice). The candle is divided into 7 sections using 7 pins, with each pin head’s color corresponding to what the intention of your work is. Beginning 1/7th of the way up from the candle base, place the first pin, and the other six are equally spaced up the candle. Six pins will give you the 7 sections, but there must be a seventh pin, which is placed at the top.

Write your name on a piece of paper, then write your wish(es) across your name 7x’s. If there are more than one wish, write each one once. Fold the paper toward you, turn and fold toward you again. Do this 7 x’s.

Each day burn one partition of the candle until the pin falls out, petitioning for your intent to manifest.

Burn the candle, one section at a time, for seven days.

The following list (also posted here on this blog) tells you what colors to use for what intents to be manifested:

• white -- spiritual blessings, purity, healing, rest
• blue -- peace, harmony, joy, kindly intentions, healing
• green -- money spells, gambling luck, business, a good job, good crops
• yellow -- devotion, prayer, money (gold), cheerfulness, attraction
• red -- love spells, affection, passion, bodily vigour
• pink -- attraction, romance, clean living
• purple -- mastery, power, ambition, control, command
• orange -- change of plans, opening the way, prophetic dreams
• brown -- court case spells, neutrality
• black -- repulsion, dark thoughts, sorrow, freedom from evil
• red and black (Double Action) -- remove a love-jinxing spell
• white and black (Double Action) -- to return evil to the sender
• green and black (Double Action) -- remove money-jinxing

The 7 pin colors associations:

yellow - success
white - positive
red - power
purple - spirituality
green - money
blue - love
black - repelling negative energy
