Up until a century or so ago, we used the seasons and the phases of the moon as our guides for planting, sowing and reaping of the harvest and the regular maintenance of livestock.  Today we use chemicals to increase productivity of the cow’s milk and the crop’s yield.  Modern science has done wonders but many of us just want a small garden for planting, sowing and reaping by Mother Nature’s own design. Here are a few pointers to get you started!

Tidal Correspondences

The moon’s phase will also impact the spell’s intent in conjunction with the tidal phase, especially if doing any water magicks. So be sure to take both into consideration.
